Pierre-Alain leads HWF’s tax insurance practice in France, specialising in the structuring and placement of bespoke insurance solutions for complex domestic and cross-border tax risks.

Prior to joining HWF, Pierre-Alain was an International Tax Underwriter at Transact Risk Partners, part of Ryan Specialty Group, where he structured and underwrote tax insurance transactions across European jurisdictions, with a particular focus on France.

Pierre-Alain previously held international tax advisory roles at Deloitte and Houthoff, advising multinational clients on complex tax matters and cross-border transactions. He also worked in-house at ING Bank, gaining first-hand insight into the governance, operational and commercial challenges faced by multinational organisations. His combined experience across advisory, corporate and underwriting environments brings a distinctive perspective to the structuring of tax insurance solutions.
