Freya Frericks

Associate Director

Freya is an Associate Director in the Tax Insurance team at HWF.

She specialises in the placement of tax insurance for complex tax exposures, whether arising in connection with a transaction or as stand-alone risks. Freya advises on exposures at different stages, from potential or identified risks through to matters under audit or in dispute. She works closely with clients, tax advisers and insurers to assess exposures, develop insurance solutions and negotiate and place policies, with a particular focus on the Dutch market.

Prior to joining HWF, Freya worked in private practice in the Netherlands and the UK, advising taxpayers, including listed groups, funds and individuals, on a broad range of international and domestic tax matters.

Freya holds a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Tax Economics and is fluent in English and Dutch.
