Ellie McRoberts

Ellie is the Deputy CEO of HWF, having joined the firm in 2017 as its first Analyst. She has grown alongside the business from its earliest days and now works in close partnership with the CEO to define and deliver HWF’s strategic direction – setting the firm’s ambitions and leading the execution of key initiatives across the business.

Over nearly a decade at HWF, Ellie has built an exceptional track record, having advised on more than 400 transactions spanning private equity, healthcare, real estate, infrastructure, and renewable energy. She is an extremely experienced practitioner in the market with particular expertise in complex, multi-layered deals where sophisticated structuring is critical.

Ellie has advised on landmark transactions including Sandvik’s acquisition of DSI Underground alongside Norton Rose Fulbright, the acquisition of Voyage Care by Wren House Infrastructure, and a series of high-profile renewable energy deals with key clients Alpha Real Capital, SSE Utility Solutions Limited and NTR. She has worked with a broad and diverse client base, from global corporates and institutional investors to private equity houses and management teams.

As Deputy CEO, Ellie plays a central role in shaping the firm’s culture and people strategy, fostering a high-performance, collaborative environment and supporting the continued growth of HWF. Alongside her leadership responsibilities, she remains actively involved in advising on transactions.
