Michał Osowski

Associate Director

Michał is an Associate Director and Head of CEE tax in the Tax Insurance team at HWF. He is a qualified tax advisor and lawyer with over 10 years of experience in international taxation, transactional tax advisory, and complex cross-border structures.

Throughout his career, Michał has advised private equity funds, institutional investors, and multinational corporates on M&A transactions, reorganisations, financing structures, and large-scale investments across multiple jurisdictions. His experience spans a wide range of industries including real estate, infrastructure, energy, logistics, data centres, and technology-driven businesses, with a particular focus on international tax structuring, transaction support, and the identification and assessment of material tax risks in cross-border environments—experience that directly underpins his work in tax insurance.

Prior to joining HWF, Michał spent over a decade in BIG4 companies, working on high-value, multi-jurisdictional transactions.
He holds a law degree and is a licensed tax advisor. Michał speaks and works fluently in English and Polish.
