Christian Sander

Director

Christian is focused on advising on transactional risk solutions for corporate transitions. He serves all investor groups such as strategic buyers, private equity and family offices. He has worked on several cross-border transactions.

Before joining HWF, Christian worked for two mid-market M&A firms in Munich and Frankfurt for more than five years. There he initially focused on deal execution in the technology and health care sector and later more and more on business development.

Christian also led the Private Equity & Real Estate team of the Franco-German private bank ODDO BHF in Frankfurt, where he was responsible for co-investments, fund and manager selection and fundraising for over seven years. Christian gained his in-depth understanding of insurance over more than five years at companies such as Generali, Nürnberger Versicherungsgruppe, and Münchener Verein. After his MBA studies, Christian additionally acquired the titles of Certified International Investment Analyst (CIIA) (DVFA) and Private Equity Advisor (EBS).
