Accounts Assistant

We are looking for an Accounts Assistant to assist the finance team based in the UK. The role location is flexible, being either based in the London office, remotely, or a mixture of both. Please send your CV and covering email to rachael.coleman@hwfpartners.com for consideration.

Purpose of the Role:

  • Responsible for assisting the finance team with a variety of accounts tasks using Xero
  • Reconciling the bank accounts and credit card control account, ensuring all receipts are uploaded on a timely basis.
  • Posting invoices and bills into Xero.
  • Reviewing expense claims in Xero to ensure correct coding and appropriate supporting documentation
  • Assisting in audit preparation ensuring consistency in general ledger coding and completion of supporting documentation

Qualifications & Experience:

  • AAT desirable but not essential
  • Experience working within a finance function, including processing invoices
  • Good level of skill and experience in Microsoft applications including Outlook and Excel
  • Good IT skills and ability to learn new systems
  • Experience using Xero desirable but not essential
